the one who went before

In your eyes I see my pain
Different girl, yet same refrain
I am the one who walked before
So now I'm here to lift you from the floor
This life is full of miracles, yet so full of fears
Its hard to see the road ahead when your pushing through the tears
I wish that I could do for you
what I have done before
And bare the weight for those who
Are standing at that door
But you my dear are there alone
No one to hold your hand
So I pray that you, like me
Will have the strenght to stand

Something so perfect is right within your reach
Love stronger than any tongue has power to give speech
Press forward child with faith and tender care
and when you feel alone
Trust me when I tell you that I have been there.

In our eyes he sees our pain
different girls yet same refrain
He is the One that walked before
and will be there to lift us from the floor

Something so perfect is right within your reach
Love stronger than any tongue has power to give speech
Press forward child with faith and tender care
and when you feel alone
Trust in Him... He has been there.

Robyn that is very beautiful, especially coming from a veteran birthmom as you support the other women approaching that decision. You are such a great person to know!
